Collecting and Using “Personal Information”
Welcome to the OHERN Institute’s website. When you visit and navigate the OHERN website or when you communicate with us through our website, the OHERN Institute will not collect personal information about you unless you provide that information voluntarily. Any personal information you supply through our site will be used solely for the purpose stated on the page where it is collected - for instance, if you would like to participate in one of the many research projects planned as part of the OHERN Project then we will include you on a list of participants.
By “personal information,” we mean data that is unique to an individual, such as a name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number. From time to time, we may request personal information from you at our site in order to deliver materials, respond to your questions, or deliver additional information you have requested.
Your E-Mail
We welcome your comments and questions about what we hope to accomplish at the OHERN Institute. We will provide you with e-mail windows for that purpose. We may share your comments and questions with others and those at the Institute most capable of responding to your questions and concerns.
Linking to Outside Web Sites
From time to time, the OHERN Institute provides links to outside websites we consider useful or of special interest to visitors interested in learning more about the use of passenger rails for purposes of strengthening Ohio education. We cannot, however, be responsible for the privacy practices used by those website owners or the content or accuracy of those off-campus websites. Links to other websites do not constitute or imply endorsement of those sites by the OHERN Institute.
Updates to this Policy
The OHERN Institute may change its Privacy Policy from time to time. When updates are made, the Privacy Policy page will be modified to note the date of that change.
